Terms and Conditions of Membership in the CARE Peru Network of Friends
The Organization will notify the Member when their request has been accepted and confirm by email the date of the first charge. If in any case, the Member does not receive the aforementioned confirmation within a period of 30 days, he/she must understand that his/her membership request has not been accepted (or was not received). VISANET and the issuing Bank will not be responsible for any absence of notification regarding acceptance or rejection of the application for Membership. Charges will be made for the fixed amount on a monthly basis, without liability on the part of the Bank or VISANET, provided that the Member has a sufficient credit line available to make the donation in the total amount required by the establishment. The Bank will charge the amount dictated by the Organization up to the maximum amount stated in this membership form. If the amount of the order exceeds the established maximum amount, it will not be processed. In the case that a replacement card is issued due to loss, theft or expiration, the Bank will update the new card number in order to continue with the automatic charge. Nevertheless, it is the obligation of the Member to inform the Organization of the change in the number of the card. The Member may modify the maximum amount by processing a cancellation and authorizing another membership for the new amount to the Organization or the Bank. The Member should take into consideration the prviouslyscheduled installments when processing a cancelation and new Membership application. Inclusion in the automatic Visa charge program will be in effect until the Member requests that the Bank or the selected Organization to be removed from the system. Cancellation must be requested at least 48 hours before the fee collection date. Recurring charges due within 48 hours may still be charged to the Member. The Member may submit an application for temporary suspension to the Organization or to the Bank by any dated means. However, such a request must be made no less than 48 hours before the fee collection date. Recurring charges due within 48 hours may be charged to the Member. The suspension does not relieve the Member of his obligations to the Organization. In no case are VISANET and/or the Bank liable for the provision, continuity, quantity and/or quality of the services provided by the Organization. Nor are they liable for payment errors related to recurring charges to the Bank or time delays of the Member.
I declare to know that, at any time and unilaterally, I can exercise the rights of information, access, updating, rectification, inclusion, suspension or cancellation, objection and objective treatment conferred by Law No. 29733, Law of Protection of Personal Data and its Regulation approved by Supreme Decree N°003-2013-JUS; by written notification to CARE Peru or by e-mail addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
CARE Peru is an authorized entity within the SUNAT Register of Donation Reciving Organizatons and for donations greater than a total of S /. 2,000 per year, donors can request the issue of a “Proof of Donation” receipt to apply to tax reductions according to subsection b) from article 49° of Peru’s Income Tax Law. The deduction may not exceed ten percent (10%) of the sum of net income from work and foreign source income.

How does CARE Peru use the information about you?
Any information we collect about you from the website is used to help us better understand who visits the website.

Does CARE Peru share your information?
Some pages on this website indicate that the information you submit will not remain solely within CARE. For example, the information sent on the donation pages, will be processed as indicated by our partner company that provide secure transactions.
We may disclose your information to a third party to comply with any legal obligations or to protect the property and other rights of CARE, including the disclosure of information for the purpose of protection against fraudulent activities.
We may need to share your information with our service providers, partner organizations and agents for administrative and fundraising purposes. We will do so safely and only with companies that are designated to act on our behalf.
How does CARE store your information?
Any payment transactions will be made through WorldPay, Stripe and / or PayPal. We do not store your credit card details or share customer details with third parties for these transactions.
The spread of information through the internet is not completely safe. While CARE Peru will do its best to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of any data transmitted through our site and any transmission of information is at your own risk.
What are your rights?
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal information for marketing purposes. Generally we will inform you before collecting this data if it is our intention to use it for such purposes, or if it is our intention to disclose your information to a third party acting on our behalf such as: suppliers, organizations and agents associated for administrative and fundraising purposes.
Can you update, correct or delete your personal identifying information?
CARE maintains high standards of accuracy by keeping your identification information current. If you change your email address or know that the information we have about you is inaccurate or outdated, please contact us at your earliest convenience.
For the purposes of the law, you have the right to make a written request to access the information we have about you. We reserve the right to impose a small administrative cost for any requests for personal information.
Is there anything else I should know?
This website is intended to be primarily used by adults. While we welcome users under the age of 18, CARE is not interested in collecting personal information about users under the age of 18. We recommend that parents and/or teachers do not publish or allow others to publish any personal information about persons under the age of 18.
