Objetivo del proyecto

Achieve that families living in peri-urban and rural poverty improve their income and their quality of life in a sustainable way through the development of inclusive economic activities and access to quality entrepreneurial, financial, and social security education.

Grupo de impacto

High school students (11-19 years old) from schools in the four regions covered by the project.

Innovación

Youth (school) enterprises developed through the Economic Empowerment Club in schools to provide students with tools that help them achieve their life plan and thus break the cycle of poverty.

Fortalecimiento de la sociedad civil

Contribution in the construction of the National Educational Project (PEN).

Modelos efectivos

The articulated work with the decision makers in education of the regional governments.

Aprendizajes

  • Promote the Project Management Committees, which was not planned from the beginning within the framework of the project.
  • Promote formal savings, which was initially planned to be carried out informally through the Savings Club.
  • Develop a platform for school entrepreneurship and work it hand in hand with the State. This activity was not planned from the beginning; however, after promoting local school ventures, it was noted that a greater impact would be generated with a platform articulated with the Ministry of Education.
